timeline provides an overview of the Corporation's growth and milestone events:

1965
Family Guardian was established in 1965
by Roscow N. Pyfrom, A. R. Jack Knowles and
Norbert F. Boissiere offering Home Service life
and health insurance products.

1975
By its 10th anniversary, Family
Guardian had expanded to a total of 13
sales offices.

1979
Family Guardian acquired the portfolio of Community
Industrial Life Insurance Company.

1981
Family Guardian broadened its product
line by establishing the Financial Services Division
to sell Ordinary Life insurance and annuities.

1983
FamGuard Corporation Ltd was established as the holding company
for Family Guardian.

1993
The Company's Corporate
Centre on East Bay Street was completed.

1997
Family Guardian acquired Guardian
Life of the Caribbean's Bahamas portfolio.

1998
FamGuard became a publically traded company,
successfully completing its initial public offering

2000
FamGuard expanded further through a
new subsidiary, BahamaHealth, offering
comprehensive health insurance and other
employee benefit plans.

2001
FamGuard formed a third subsidiary,
FG General Insurance Agency.
Family Guardian and Star Insurance
Company (Bahamas) merged their
operations becoming one of the largest life and
health insurers in The Bahamas.

2005
FamGuard formed a strategic alliance
with Sagicor Financial Corporation.

2007
The Family Guardian Financial Centre
opened on East Bay and Church Streets,
Nassau, consolidating under one roof the Financial Services division,
Operations (including payments processing, claims & underwriting),
and BahamaHealth.

2008
FamGuard expanded its financial
product offerings with the launch of
FG Capital Markets and FG Financial
to provide brokerage and advisory services and
pension and investment management.

2010
FG General was expanded and
renamed FG Insurance Agents & Brokers incorporating the Financial Services division
and a new Property and Casualty division
providing home, auto, marine, commercial and liability insurance.
